Good Evening
So how have you all been? Getting things done and loving life? I hope so!
Have you ever had one of those moments that scared the absolute crap out of you? I did today:
My Boston terrier, Spike, is generally a quiet dog. Today as I was beginning my workout he went to the hallway and started barking and growling… At nothing.
My first thought was holy shit someone is downstairs… (I exercise upstairs), after I grabbed my baseball bat and called a friend to stay on the phone with me while I searched my first floor.
I went downstairs checked every door was locked and made sure no one was hiding in my pantry (lol) or restroom. When they were empty I breathed a sigh of relief… Only to begin to wonder: why was my dog barking?! I did my best to shrug it off and went back upstairs. I decided to save my workout until after my DH came home from work and so I settled in to my computer chair so that I could laugh at funny pics on fb. (Read: Not be a little weenie about why my dog was spooked!)
I was at my first pic when I once again heard Spike growling at the landing. I called him over to me and tried to get him to play with his toys (fetch) but he was not having it… This went on for a good 10 min. and during this time I was still trying to get him to chill.
Thankfully he just stopped and started playing with his toys. Of course, I’m practically hyperventilating at this point with thoughts of ghosts or people living in my attic running wild within my mind. One fear, people living in my attic, was erased almost instantly… I live in Vegas, it would be very difficult for someone to live in my attic, but what of ghosts?!?!
What are your thoughts on this?
